Winter Has Come to Long Beach Island

It feels like winter hasn't officially arrived until there's a real snow, doesn't it? Well we got a nice coastal storm this weekend down on Long Beach Island that blanketed the island in soft white snowflakes. Many of our customers over the years are only here in the summertime, and don't get the chance to experience the beach in winter. It can be very harsh, certainly. The winds can bite right through your coat and chill your bones.

But isn't it just a gorgeous sight to see? We have a secret love for even the harshest weather down here on the island, because somehow even when it's grey and cold, it can be so very beautiful.

That cold beauty of the island in winter has been captured over the years in our stained glass window collection: Winter Sol. Mary Tantillo, owner and artist-in-chief at SwellColors, has made a stained glass series which includes an inspired design for every date of the winter season. Each window in this series has a corresponding piece of handmade fused glass, making every window truly one of a kind.

You can order any of our windows online, so please check out our Winter Sol Stained Glass Collection. A lovely stained glass window can warm your heart on even the coldest days of winter.
