Class Highlight: Bead Making

Things are about to get HOT! Love glass? What about fire? Our Hot Glass Bead Making class combines it all.

The Hot Glass Bead Making class is a 3-hour class held on Wednesdays from 9AM-12PM. Students use Italian Effetre glass and a torch to make 10-12 glass beads – which you can leave with the same day! Because you’re working with fire, you must be at least 15 years old to take this class. However, if you cannot commit three hours we also offer a 45-minute “experience” class.

The “experience” class is a “walk-in,” which means you came come in any time while SwellColors is open. During the experience class you will learn how to make three glass beads that will be available for pick up one hour after they are made. Beads fit Pandora or Trollbead bracelets, but do not have a silver insert in them.
