Class Highlight: Stained Glass Window

Designing, cutting, grinding, foiling, burnishing, soldering, patina and polishing … what? That’s everything that goes into creating a stained glass window!

Our stained glass window class is an all-day experience that gives you the opportunity to learn the craft of stained glass – and leave with your own piece of art! Students will design a 12 x 12 or 11 x 13 window and work with glass artist Mary Tantillo to turn the idea into reality. You’ll learn all about the tools it takes to craft a piece, as well as safety measures.( Sweat should certainly go into your piece … but not blood & tears!)
