Bones found on Long Beach Island, NJ. What kind of bones are they?
If anyone out there knows what this is pictured, we would love to know. We heard that maybe they are cow horns or cow bones. Years ago cargo ships used to transport livestock frequented our shores. So this is a possibility. If anyone has any idea about what type of bones these are and can elaborate please let us know. You never know what you might find when you are walking the beach around Long Beach Island. It is low tide in the morning right now so get out there and enjoy these sunny days.
