Puro Verano Art Opening at SwellColors!

I am unveiling 93 new works in stained glass on Friday July 30 from 6-9pm. The series is called Puro Verano. All the pieces are sun inspired and things fueled by the sun. This is part of a broader collection of a year of suns. This is the Summer series I designed last year and am now fabricating in my studio here in Surf City. I decided to create a year of suns a few years ago when I started getting into my family history and discovered my great +great Sicilian grandfathers were both named Ciro which means "like the sun". Then I started thinking about how I came to be and what fuels life. The sun is the ultimate energy source (and water), so I got inspired... and now here we are... :-)
